X-Box 360 for $360?

Mr.Chan tried selling his X-Box 360 yesterday at the Cash Converters store.

The store was empty except for a lady customer at the counter selling a couple of second-hand items, like a cassette tape deck and a typewriter. The CC Salesman noticed that I was empty-handed, hence while the lady was contemplating he came over.

I asked Salesman to make an offer for a new and unopened X-Box 360 with one free game, and he asked how much I expected. $600 for something going for $660 at major electrical megastores seems ambitious but I didn't want him to know my base price.

Salesman then explained either his or their (Cash Converters) pricing policy.

Recently we sold an X-Box 360, brand new and with one free game, for $580. We bought it at half the price.

Sensing the great disparity between our valuation we decided not to waste each other's time. This is not a complain about his service, rather I felt was appropriate between individuals who knows they're not going to get what they want.

I've decided to adopt the price it's going for at ebay, and sell it for about $550. Interested parties kindly send an email to azzuri94@hotmail.com.
